what makes con tumbao unique?

Two photos with titles. The top photo shows a man and a woman practicing social dancing against a brick wall. The bottom photo shows a group of people sitting around a table with drinks, watching a live singer performing with a guitar in a cozy pub-style setting, with an audience applauding. The titles are "Social dancing practice & jamming" and "Socialising with Snacks & Drinks."

Con Tumbao exists to create a community where dancers feel the music and grow together through dance, musicality, and shared moments of joy. Our space empowers, nurtures well-being, and celebrates inclusivity.

We are committed to cultural awareness, collaboration, and sustainability, creating a supportive environment where every dancer can thrive and express themselves freely — on and off the dance floor.

Tumbao - a fundamental rhythmic pattern in salsa played by conga drums.

Our school offers a unique approach to salsa, integrating musicality with dance training. Here, everything starts with the groove. We love to feel the tumbao in every step and every moment on the dance floor.

Our classes are rooted in Salsa on2 (NY style), Contratiempo/Son Cubano, and Mambo — always with a focus on social dancing and connection.

Our classes are designed to support dancers of all levels, from absolute beginners (salsa foundations) to advanced (musicality jam).
