Our school offers a unique approach to salsa, integrating musicality with dance training. Here, everything starts with the groove. We love to feel the tumbao in every step and every moment on the dance floor.
Our classes are rooted in Salsa on2 (New York style), Contratiempo/Son Cubano, and Mambo — always with a focus on social dancing and connection. Our classes are designed to support dancers of all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced.

A special beginner course that teaches salsa and musicality as one integrated skill
Learn the essentials of salsa with a focus on technique, groove, and musicality, so you build real confidence from the start. Every week includes guided social dancing practice and jamming sessions, helping you feel comfortable dancing with others right away.

Learn with the rhythm right in the room
Our classes always include live percussion, so you don’t just hear the music — you feel it. You’ll also discover the cultural roots, stories, and traditions behind salsa dancing and the music, providing the necessary context and meaning. You will also get the chance to play the instruments yourself!

Salsa on2 Groove & Technique
2 levels: Beginner / Open Level
New to salsa, or curious to explore the groove and flow of salsa on2? This is the perfect place to start. You’ll build strong foundations in technique, partner connection while discovering how dance fits with the music. We offer 2 levels:
Beginners: This class is designed to give you strong foundations from the very beginning. You’ll learn the groove, the stepping, and the connection to the music in a supportive and fun environment. No partner or prior experience needed.
Transition & Foundations group: Already dancing salsa? Join this group if you want to feel more grounded in salsa on2. Expect footwork and partnerwork technique, body movement and plenty of groove!
This class connects musicality training with salsa technique helping you really feel the music as you dance.
4-week cycle, 5-week course for Beginners or 11-week autumn season - every Tuesday at 7pm. London, Happy Feet Studios.

Salsa musicality jam

Each month we explore a different musicality theme in a progressive way — from diving into the role of individual instruments and the rhythms they create, to interpreting song structure, learning about salsa history and playing salsa percussion ourselves. You’ll learn how to connect to the music through both solo dancing and partnerwork. You will discover new ways to express salsa with groove, playfulness, and confidence.

Social Dancing Practice & Jamming

Dance, play, laugh, and connect! This is a space to practise what you have learnt during classes, dance freely or play salsa instruments alongside the music. We gather to bond and socialise over snacks and drinks — a perfect way to strengthen friendships and enjoy the music and dance together.
